Who should attend this workshop?
Fine Artists would prefer to find a gallery to sell their work, so they keep creating. Craftspersons can sell their work, but often at lower price points. This workshop is open to all creatives.
FINE ART is considered Painting, Sculpture, Drawing, Architecture, Printmaking, and certain types of Photography. Contemporary expansions have included Installation Art, Video Art (not to be confused with filmmaking), Performance Art, Conceptual Art, Mixed Media, and Readymade Art.
CRAFT is considered to be a Textile and Fiber Arts, including weaving, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and felting. Ceramic arts include wheel-thrown pottery, hand-built ceramics, porcelain, stoneware, and earthenware. Metalwork to include jewelry making, blacksmithing, casting, Repousse, and Chasing. Woodworking would involve techniques such as turning, carving, furniture making, and marquetry/inlay. Paper and Book Art would include papermaking, origami, bookbuilding, and paper cutting/collage.
